Step back into the wonderfully wicked world of Elizabethan England for Blackadder II, the gloriously irreverent comedy from the creators of the hugely popular television series. Join Edmund Blackadder, his hopelessly dim-witted servant Baldrick and a host of outrageous characters for a riotous collection of schemes, scandals, romance and revenge.
Set during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I, Edmund Blackadder is no longer the snivelling loser of the first series. Now a cunning, sarcastic and self-serving nobleman, he has only one ambition: to improve his position, make some money and, whenever possible, avoid the attention of the Queen. With Baldrick loyally at his side – and rarely more than one disastrous idea away – Edmund’s cunning plans are never quite as straightforward as he would like.
Unfortunately for Edmund, life at court is anything but straightforward. Between the unpredictable Queenie, the relentlessly irritating Lord Flashheart, the foppish Lord Percy and a succession of bizarre visitors and disastrous schemes, keeping his head – and his dignity – becomes increasingly difficult.
Packed with razor-sharp wit, ridiculous situations and some of British comedy’s most memorable characters, Blackadder II is a hilarious journey through the absurdities of Elizabethan England. Expect plenty of plotting, plenty of chaos and, of course, more than a little cunning plan!

Our launch night is open to anyone who is interested in being part of the production, whether you’re a familiar TFO face or completely new to the company.
This is a chance to come along, meet our creative team, find out more about the show and what we have planned, and get a taste of what’s to come!
And, of course, we couldn’t have a launch night without doing a little singing… We’ll be learning and singing one of the show’s songs together, so you can get a feel for the music and have some fun with the company.
Whether you’re a regular performer or have never tread the boards before, we’d love to see you there!

For the second year, Langley Band and Tinkers Farm Operatic Society are delighted to come together and this time, we're celebrating everything we love about musical theatre!
Following the success of our first concert, Musicals at Christmas will be an evening celebrating the wonderful world of musical theatre, with some of your favourite songs from the stage performed alongside the spectacular sound of a live brass band.
From much-loved classics to memorable moments from some of the greatest shows ever written, prepare to be transported from one theatrical world to another through an evening of incredible music.
