I like this society and each year they offer two quite different mediums, at least since I have been going to see them. In Autumn, you get a Comedy Play/TV Tie-in and Spring, a musical."

"Adam Siviter as Gaston was full of confidence and charisma, embracing the role’s over-the-top arrogance brilliantly and earning plenty of laughs from the audience."
"Visually, the production was absolutely gorgeous. The costumes supplied by Leo’s Theatrical Costumes were stunning and helped create the magical fairytale aesthetic beautifully. The scenery and props from Scenic Projects Ltd transformed Stourbridge Town Hall into an enchanting world full of character and atmosphere, while the lighting design from Dave Pittman with Going Dark Theatrical Services added warmth, drama, and spectacle throughout the evening. The wigs and make-up from Paul Herrington-Hurley with Your Stylez completed the look perfectly."

"Before I even get onto the performance itself, I thought it was such a lovely touch that the principal cast came out afterwards to take photos with the audience. It made the whole evening feel much more personal and showed how appreciative they were of everyone who had come along to support the show"
"However, the standout performer for me was Lumière, played by Matthew Morgan. I really noticed the attention to detail in his performance, especially the way he moved around the stage while still keeping the stiff movements of a candlestick holder — even walking upstairs in character. His French accent remained consistent throughout, and his comic timing got some of the biggest laughs of the night. He definitely seemed to become one of the audience favourites."
"My favourite scene in the entire show was what I called “the clapping cups” scene during Be Our Guest. This number was packed with energy, colour and fun, and it was brilliantly staged. Like most people, this is probably the song I instantly think of when I hear Beauty and the Beast, and I was still humming it to myself while leaving the theatre afterwards. The choreography was lively, the costumes were dazzling, and there always seemed to be something happening wherever you looked on stage."
